It’s less than a month until the election of 2024, and this blog is meant to encourage you to vote as a citizen of the United States. In fact, it’s your responsibility, your job. If you care about your rights, like the freedom to worship as you want to, or the freedom to read a free press1, then you need to also recognize your responsibility to vote for the best presidential candidate standing for election. And I say the best presidential, but it’s also true of those standing for state or federal offices like Attorney General, Governor, Senator, Representative, Sheriff, or dog catcher. And voting isn't just for people running for office, but also for various measures being passed. And it is your responsibility to vote.
I can’t count the times people have said that they’re not voting because it doesn’t make a difference, or all the candidates are the same, or, lately, the elections are all rigged, so why vote2. We vote because it is our job to vote. Period.
I could keep writing to make more points, but are any more really necessary? You are citizens, you have responsibilities, and voting is one of them. That’s it.

1 In case you’re too angry at the media and fail to see this as a right, think of living in a country like Russia where reporters are controlled by the government. Reporters are still being arrested and convicted for reporting on, amongst other things, the war Russia started in Ukraine.
2 There has never been ANY proof of election tampering, whatever you’ve heard. Despite the lack of evidence, and the assurance of those like Bill Barr and Homeland Security saying everything went exactly as it should have gone, with the appropriate results. There was next to no cheating, and what there was done by party loyalists, not regular citizens.
